Pastor John A. Trerice

Greetings

As you look through the pages of this website may you come to see that we welcome all people, of all backgrounds, and all experiences.  Our Lord Jesus came to this earth to transform lives through a personal experience of faith in Him.  It is our greatest desire for you to know that new life that Jesus gives to all who place their trust in Him.

·         Nativity is about people because Jesus came to earth to minister to the needs of people.

“For even the Son of Man did not come to be served,

but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.”

(Mark 10:45 NASB)

·         Nativity is about helping others experience the joy of worshipping Jesus Christ and to know the daily strength and purpose of life He gives to all who call on Him.

·         Nativity is about following the Word of God that clearly says if you follow it, “you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.” (John 8:32)

·         Nativity does not claim to have all the answers or to be a perfect Church only that Jesus Christ is the only one sufficient to meet all your inner most needs, all your life needs, and all your eternal needs. (1 Corinthians 1:30, 2 Corinthians 3:5)

Why not come and give us a try?  Come asking questions or come seeking answers, we will  welcome you with open arms no matter your past, no matter your struggles, for we know that God desires to bless your life. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son…”      (John 3:16)

                                       Ministry Emphasis

As a young man entering the ministry my mentor boiled the ministry down to two basic terms that I have tried to live by throughout these years.

1.    Preach the Word – that has been the heartbeat of my ministry.  In the pulpit the emphasis is on the Word of God and relating it to daily lives.  In my counseling ministry God has used me to help many couples, families, and individuals through many dark and difficult times, as I showed them how God has a design, a plan, and purpose for their lives.  Here at Nativity, we honor and follow Jesus Christ who has revealed Himself in the Word.

2.    Love the People – that has been the second heartbeat of my ministry.  I sincerely desire to help people live amazing lives, enriched lives, and exciting lives.  There is so much pain and misery in life, I have seen my share and experienced my share.  It is great to know that God has the answers and part of it is for us to reach out and help those in need.

We are not a large Church or one that has a ministry specialized for every need.  What we do have is a heart that desires to help you follow God’s way for your life and to experience a fresh and exciting life through our living Lord.

Greatest Desire as Pastor

To see all who come enjoy Jesus Christ, know Jesus Christ, and follow Jesus Christ.
